In this context, it is observed that this case study has considered the history of the firm named ANZ. A look into the past of the institution has happened to reveal the fact that ANZ, although, is one of the most successful ba nks of the current times, had not similar track record, in the earlier years. This is the same institution which was happened to be plagued by a large number of problems. The internal systems of the bank were alarming with its internal problems and the effect of the same could be seen on the entire business and its various prospects. The situation revealed that soon the management of the bank brought some changes in its management and the leadership quality. With the introduction of the new CEO into the company, a major change has been initiated within the internal tiers of the company(Colombo, 2014). The case study is, in fact, a fine record of the changes which had been brought into the bank of ANZ. The various benefits which were found into the bank soon after the changes made us overlook the various strategies and the plans which had been used for change management. The case study clearly reveals the fact that the company culture and the organizational internal settings are some of the most important aspects which can bring the success for any company. However the entire agenda is not as simple as that. In fact in this context, we observe that a large number of considerations are there. Each one of them happens to be very important and requires a careful attention. To mention a few to make a company successful, the employees of the company must receive the right amount of training and must also be provided with proper leadership quality. Bureaucracy is one of the things which must be avoided for better sustainable result. This is one of the features which can make negative imp act on the culture of the company with the psyche of the employees. The leaders and the general employees both are very important for the company, Hence a proper guidance to the employees is required which could be done through regular guidance. This also attracts regular process of performance appraisal. Again the aspect of the corporate social responsibility agendas happens to be very important for any company. This is one of the best ways through which the acceptance of the brand could be improved in the market. Change in the image of the company can also be brought through the various public agendas and corporate social activities. These are the programs which can make a company more acceptable to the community. Recommendations: An analysis of the considered case study reveals the fact that a change of the CEO of the company led to a large number of changes within the bank which had covered almost all the aspects of the bank. This was a change which had brought expected level of required benefits for the bank considering overall situation and it also prevailed that the various changes which have been brought in the ANZ bank had helped the bank to revive the spirit and the culture of business operations and functions of the bank. The resultant impact of all these changes had been reflected in the improvement of business figures of the company. However in the present status of the bank some recommendations are made which would help the bank towards proving their sustainability of business in long run to combat the competition in the market and to have stable position with gradual growth of the business of the company through implementations. Improved recruitment: In this context it could be added that the improvement of the company would always depend on the employees of the company, it is evident from the practice of HR management that the company would be able to take up an improved structure of recruitment. This structure would ensure that the process of level of checking and evaluation of the profiles is to be done in a much more astute manner and yet again the recruitments are to be done on the basis of calibre and ability to handle the job efficiently. Improved Retention: Retention is a feature which goes side by side with the operation of recruitment. In this context, it is observed from the standard practice of HR management that the employees of the company who were trained in their jobs and were working with the company for a long period are the real assets of the company. These are the employees who must be treated in a proper and a respectful manner as they are building the core team of the company. This recommendation is made for giving priority to the retention policy of the employees of the bank with proper appraisal followed by suitable compensation for betterment of the company. Better Change management teams: The management of the companies like the financial institution of ANZ must appoint all the effective changes in management teams. The core responsibility of these teams would be to analyse the existing position and the situation of the company. They should then go for a gap analysis with the most desirable situation of the company. The difference that would be arrived at will be the improvement or the changes which are needed to be brought in the company, However this cannot be an over night phenomenon. Again it is the responsibility of the management and also the HR teams of the company in order to ensure that the employees could be able to clearly find the benefits and the advantages that they could reap due to the changes. Hence the basic idea of the change and the advantages of that could be considered for discussion with the team.
