The modernist movement in Literature came about in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries as authors began to consciously break from traditional writing styles and experiment with new methods of storytelling. These authors drew their inspiration from the real world and their own experiences. Every aspect of the world has its own influence from historical events to developments in psychological theory. The authors of the modernist era, such as William Faulkner, Virginia Woolf, T.S. Elliot, and James Joyce, experimented heavily with established laws of language and structure by modifying the narration of the story and breaking the plot into pieces for the reader to put together. Different wheat varieties do well in different temperature and climate. Wheat is one type of grass family which mainly grown for its seed, it is staple food worldwide, (Venkateswarlu Shanker, 2012). Wheat has many species that together make up genus Triticum. The most common species is Triticum aestivum. Wheat trade is largest in world and it is most produced cereal after maize. It is on high demand globally as it is source of carbohydrates and source of vegetal protein necessary for human consumption, (Dsouza Jellife, 2012). The most common cultivated types of wheat are T. aestivum, T. spelta, T. durum, T. dicoccon, T. turanicum and T. monococcum. Due to change of global environmental features and population increase, water resources and crop production are on increase. It is necessary to come up with wheat genotypes which are tolerant to drought and heat t o counter the rising food demand, (Buck et al., 2007). Though this requires a lot of capital and time, thus the faster and quicker way is to test adaptability of already existing genotype. The world requires more than 50% increase in production of wheat, maize and rice to sustain its projected population by 2045, (Godfray et al., 2010). Wheat usually requires between 110 days and 130 days between sowing time and harvest time which will be affected by climate, soil conditions and seed species. Growth regulators, fungicides, herbicides and fertilizers are applied in specifics wheat development stages. There several systems to identify crop development stages which include Feekes and Zadoks scale the most common. Wheat genetics differs from other domesticated species, some species are diploid like T. monococcum, and others are tetraploid such as emmer and durum and hexaploid. This different genetics version is necessary for yields. Aims The research questions answered in study are How wheat genotype affect wheat yields and morphological system of wheat that is number of leaves, biomass and wheat grain. Which is the best variety of wheat to be plant in order to get higher yield and harvest? Hypothesis The study tries to identify important genotype features that help wheat to give more yields and also to compare old varieties of wheat and new varieties. Which is the best varieties to grow and get high yield. Methodology:Description of the experimental site Curtin university is in Bentley, Western Australia; 3000022S 11505336. The climatic condition of this area is hot Mediterranean climate with wet winter; average temperature is 13.7-260c. Plant material This study made use of six different wheat varieties with different realised time. Old varieties were federation, olympic and gamenya while relatively new varieties were mace, magenta and yitpi. The seeds of all varieties of heat were sown at 25 May 2017 in the Field Trial Area (FTA) of Curtin University. The seeds sown depth was at 30 cm row spacing with 13 g seeds of each variety per row and there were 26 rows in each block. Growing condition The growing area had two blocks with clay soil and in the previous year, faba bean was sown in same block. The pre-season treatment had approx. 6kg/m2 calcium bentonite. The base fertilisers were 100kg/ha Urea; 100kg/ha Sulphate of potash; 90 kg/ha trace mix and 220kg/ha Super phosphate. One side dress 2kg of Nitraphoska special had applied on planted area. Both plots had tebuconazole 1ml/L, plus 2ml/L hasten applied approx. 300 L/ha. Measurements Growth measurements were plant height, number of tillers and Zadock score. These data was collected every week until harvest. Dry matter weight was measured by weighting the stem after putting them in the oven at 60oC for 48 hours in separate bags. Experiment design and Statistical analysis This experiment used completely randomised block design (CRBD) with four replications. Treatments which were varieties of wheat were applied to blocks at random. ANOVA (=0.05) analysed all data using R studio following tests of normality and homogeneity of variance. Tukeys post hoc test was performed, to check if there was any significant difference following any of the ANOVA test to identify the treatments that are significantly different. From previous research wheat genotypes and tolerant to drought and heat are correlated, (Buck et al., 2007). The study found that old wheat varieties that is federation, Olympic and gamenya produced more morphological features such tiller and plant height as compared to new varieties of wheat. Ancient wheat are better compared to modern one, they are mainly in organic farming system while new wheat varieties are usually bred for intensive high input systems. It is therefore necessary to perform cultivators on different sites to identify interaction between environment and genotype, (Heun M. Et al., 1997). Strong evidence can be found from study of various research papers that genetic change determines the crop yield potential. Various varieties are released having variable genes that hive high yield potential, resistant to disease, various unfavourable environmental conditions like drough t, (Perry Antuono, 1989). They are many wheat varieties and some being modified to suit certain climatic condition. Some varieties do well in rainy climatic condition and other do well in Mediterranean countries where drought follow the spring and they take a lot time to flower and ripen, (Canavara et al, 1994). Old varieties of wheat did better in flowering, height and number of tiller than new varieties but the yield was the same. The new varieties have being modified to suit the climatic condition. The research assumes that if the research was replicated in different regions and restricted to same condition will find the same results. The study only made use of morphological features such as tiller, height and biomass to make conclusion not yields or the nutrients content further research can conducted on the same. Conclusions The mean height of old varieties is better compared to new varieties. The mean height of gamenya is highest and federation second highest and olympic third highest. Also the two old varieties wheat that is gamenya and federation has high tiller number as compared to the other. Ancient wheats are better compared to modern one. The mean yield and mean weight of wheat plant were same for the six varieties of wheat, new varieties have been change their genotype in order to survive in Mediterranean condition. I am a Naked Woman When I was about five years old I played my first video game, it was called Quake 2. This game was played on the PC and I sucked. I kept playing my little heart out as often as I could. I would play for hours in hope that one day I could beat the game, this determination led me to the life long hobby of playing video games. This hobby taught me that no matter how many times you fail, keep trying and never give up. Every mistake is an opportunity to learn. When I was young I remember watching my dad and older brother Dustin play video games on the computer all the time. The two most memorable games they played were named Quake 2 and Diablo. They were two totally different games in terms of objects, but both intrigued me. Quake 2 was what my dad called a â€Å"shoot em’ up game† and Diablo was a RPG game where you battled the forces of evil, eventually fighting the devil himself. I would always bug them to play, but to no avail. They would simply say â€Å"No, you are to young. You wouldn’t even understand how to play† Fortunately I knew how to get my way. I simply went to the one who wore the pants in the family, my mother. I would just have to say, â€Å"Mom!! I want to play, and they won’t let me!† My mom would go to yell at them and tell them I should be allowed to play to. After about a million times of snitching out my dad and brother. I was finally allowed to play. I sat my little butt do wn and instantly lost. Dustin was usually there watching me, and as soon as I lost he would say â€Å"See!!! You can’t even play† I tried harder and harder until I was eventually able to play the game without dying every 5 seconds. My favorite game to play at the time was called Quake 2, it is a First-Person Shooter game and the objective is to complete the level and beat the occasional boss (surprising right?) I quickly discovered that I could change the way my character looked. I decided to do what any normal six-year-old boy would do, I played as the naked woman! A few days later my dad sat down to play some quake and shortly after I heard â€Å"What the Fuck, Daniel were you playing as the naked lady!† I unfortunately was no longer allowed to play my favorite video game. By the time I could play video games again, I had a few new choices of games. We even had a new system. It was called the Super Nintendo. The Super Nintendo seemed like it was a god send, playing video games was no longer limited to only one person at a time! This console had two controllers which allowed me and my brother Dustin to play together. Instead of him always teasing me he helped me get better at video games, probably because it benefitted him. There were three games we frequently played. The first two were called Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario Brothers. Those games were two player games, or at least we would take turns and work together. The third game we played often was called Mortal Combat, this game was not a team game and it was two players. This was a fighting game where the two players would have to fight against each other. My brother and I loved to play Mortal Combat. Yeah, you guessed it, most of the time he would win. Those few times I managed to beat my brother felt magical, but every loss I learned from. After sinking many hours of my young life into this I got good at it, I was able to play on single player and beat the entire game with no assistance. Dustin wasn’t even able to beat the game. I started to really like playing against him, because the tables were now turned in my favor. I was finally able to win most of the games we played. I was now the one saying â€Å"HA! You suck I win.† I got to be the one doing the finishing moves in Mortal Kombat. These were special moves you can do when you won the round. My two favorite moves were to violently rip off the head of the opposing character or to kick them into a spike pit below a bridge we fought on. I was able to get that sweet moment of taunting Dustin, rubbing it in his face that I was victorious. It felt great to be able to tease my brother who is five years older than me. This is when I learned I was able to get pretty good at video games. As I got older we acquired more systems and a very large variety of video games. I made it my personal goal to beat every video game I could, no matter the type or how difficult they are. By having this goal, I excelled at playing video games. Soon enough my gaming skills were leagues ahead of my brother and dad. My skill had grown so great I was basically able to play any video game with ease and had the ability to beat many on hard difficulties. When I was 11 years old, my dad bought me a computer. This was a huge game changer for me, because when I was younger most of my video game experience was on consoles. Consoles used controllers and the computer uses a mouse and keyboard. The play style was drastically different and suddenly, I was like a vacuum and sucked. When I first got my computer my brother Dustin already had a computer and a few games. He had the newer games in the series I used to watch him play as a child. Some of these games were Quake 3: Arena, Diablo 2 and even a new game called Starcraft. I watched him play a few times, but I never asked to play them. I decided to ask my brother if I could play his games. He loaned me two games, Diablo 2 and Starcraft. Diablo 2 was a revamped version of the Diablo game I used to watch him play and Starcraft was a strategy-based game. I instantly fell in love with these two games. I sunk most of my play time into Starcraft. Starcraft was an extremely hard game if you wanted to be good at it and you could play against other people online. You could play with just the mouse, but you don’t really play all that well. If you wanted to be truly great at a strategy game on the PC, you need to learn how to use the keyboard very well. These types of game are full of â€Å"hotkeys† which are keys on the keyboard that make something happen in game, its much faster then clicking. Starcraft has about 30 different â€Å"hotkeys† that were part of the game by default. It sounds easy to learn the â€Å"hotkeys† but it’s not like you just press a key and you’re done. To use them to their max potential you had to have precision timing, it’s almost like a repeated cycle of the correct pattern. After a lot of perseverance, I was skilled at using the keyboard and mouse simultaneously while still making split second decisions. I was like a well-oiled machine, constantly making precision movements. To this day I still play video games and I still think about all those experiences I had as a child from being a naked woman to online gaming. Every so often I still play some of the old school games, I love the nostalgia from it. I would be a different person than who I am today if it wasn’t for video games. They influenced my decision to get my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, because I love the way they enthrall the user. Video games give the player an endless challenge, constantly teaching them how to be better. It is extremely interesting to see how a game goes from the drawing board to a fully immersive experience.   I plan to develop video games when I am out of college. I want to work for Blizzard Entertainment, my favorite game studio. None of this would have happened if it wasn’t for my love of video games and the valuable lessons they thought me. I learned patience and perseverance from all those times I lost and had to wait for loading screens or repeated the same level, until finally winning. The author continues by stating all of the things he misses from when he was in Greece, such as the spring water, the black skies, and the outhouse. He is also conveying that even though his life was harder in Greece he remembers his memories in joy. The author doesn’t remember his life as being difficult he remember it as being wonderful because that is what he was used to. These two poems meant the most to me because both the author and his mother remember Greece as being their joyous home and in some ways wish they have never left it.

Act one scene one of â€Å"A Midsummer Night’s Dream† opens by portraying to us the situation between the four lovers. Shakespeare creates the subtle impression that they are perplexed group of people with no balance between them. This provides both comedy and tension throughout the play. The basic complexities between the parties are laid out during this opening scene. A major influence to the direction of this scene is the audience’s perception of the different relationships. Shakespeare more than likely intended this scene to cause confusion as to who loves who, which in turn invites the audience formulate their own ideas. Naturally, the audience will want the four to form two couples instead of one confusing mess. To effectively portray this onstage, the four lovers should be proximate to the one that they love. This will cause a visual divide between the characters because not all of the lovers are happy with those who are in love with them. For example, if Demetrius went about following Hermia, she would continually walk away from him because she does not love him. To further emphasise the divide between the lovers that forms the basis of the first scene, I would direct Hermia’s father Egeus to be very angry with Lysander. He would show this through body language such as thrusting his fists into the air, and tone of voice, which would be loud and harsh. This creates a tense atmosphere onstage and furthermore reinforces the confusion and disapproving dispositions of the characters onstage. The opening section of the first scene gives us the impression that there is confusion between who loves who, and this is obvious to the audience. Shakespeare also tells us that Demetrius once loved Helena, and this hints to the audience that it may happen again – thus solving the ever tangled â€Å"love quartet†. To show this to the audience, when Demetrius talks to Helena, they would often come close as if the rapport between them is very strong, then back away. The general body language of the two would show that there is still a chance of a reunion. By the time that Helena tells Demetrius of Lysander and Hermia’s planned elopement, the audience are aware that if Demetrius did happen to fall in love with Helena again, all would be well. This makes the audience want them to get back together. In order to bring out the comedy in this scene, I would direct the lovers to be very serious: overly deep and preoccupied with their own feelings. The inflated characters taking the ludicrous situation seriously would be comical. The fact that they are selfish and are only concerned with their own feelings in this scene also adds to the comic value. They are funny, however, singularly – they don’t involve relationships with any other character in order to be comical. Act one scene one is used to present the four lovers to us and describe their situation. Each of the four is presented in a different way, and depending on their direction is how the audience would perceive them. Shakespeare presents Helena as completely hung up about her looks. In order to show this, I would have Helena with too much make up on, possibly carrying a mirror and checking herself all the time. Her stage presence would show her as very flamboyant and very melodramatic in her movement, over exaggerating gestures in order to show her self-assured ‘importance’. We know that she is anxious about her looks because of her nervous reaction when Lysander calls her â€Å"fair†. Later on in the scene, Hermia becomes self-conscious about her height. It is her reaction to this that is comical. Firstly, she takes the jests very seriously. I would direct her to show this through facial expression, relaying to the audience her devastation. Secondly, she reacts by mocking Helena – â€Å"Thou painted maypole†. These lines are intrinsically humorous, so using obvious angry facial expressions and perhaps grabbing each other as if to fight would bring out the comic value of the segment. Demetrius is willing to see Hermia executed to prevent her from marrying another man, and Lysander appears to think of himself as a hero in a love story: he is egotistical and pretentious. It is ironic that eh thinks of himself as heroic because he is in fact, the opposite. In order to show Lysander’s naivety and contrast to Demetrius, I would direct him to appear less intelligent than the others. My dramatic intentions in this scene would be to present to the audience the confusion between the four lovers onstage in act one scene one. The main method I would use to do this would be to ensure a contrast between those that do not love each other, which would be shown through negative body language and stage positioning that portrays they do not want to be near each other.

Miscommunication between dentist, receptionist and nurses could cause difficulty for the patient to trust them and return back to the surgery for treatment, because the patient may lose trust or feel ignored. During the conversation, it was difficult to assume if patient apprehended why she had to see me. The patient was smiling, looking confused and saying yes almost for everything I was saying. And this made me concerned whether the patient understood why she had to see me. My prejudgment toward the patient could have negative impact on the patient due to being unemployed and not being able to pay for dental treatment could have cause an embarrassing or even disappointment situation for the patient. Because the patient couldnt communicate English adequately, I felt that I might have overloaded her with too much information and have created communication barrier. The case study begins by describing the socio political context in which the AHEAD project was implemented. The subsequent sections highlight findings from evaluation of the project including achievements from the implementation of the advocacy action plan, the challenges faced by AHEAD and finally the lessons learned. Literature Review The Reproductive Health Bill (RH Bill) has drawn opposing opinions from different sectors of the society. There are people who propose and support the RH Bill and there are those who strongly oppose it. In this speech, I am talking about two very famous singers, Eminem and Craig David. They are both very brilliant at making songs but in there own and very different ways. Eminem is generally known for all the swearing in all his songs, well he is known for that by the parents at least. He has had to face the courts due to too many parents complaining that Eminem is too influential on there children in a very bad way. He always makes a clean version of his album so his daughter, Hailey can listen to his songs in her little cassette player. He always puts her first. He believes that fame is nothing without being able to share it with his daughter and wife. Eminem has made many friends in the music industry, such as his protà ¯Ã‚ ¿Ã‚ ½gà ¯Ã‚ ¿Ã‚ ½, Dr Dre. He has also made a pact with snoop dogg, d12, dido and many other singers. Whereas Craig David has not made a song with anyone and has not shown that he has any celebrity friends, at least in his songs, this could mean he is a true solo artist, or he is a lonely person. Both of these artists had a low point in there career but the both eventually came back. Eminem came back with a song called ‘without me' saying that he is back and you should tell a friend, and that he has got through all his law suits. Craig David recently came back with ‘what's your flava' comparing ice cream to a lady, in the end his favourite flavour is chocolate. I did not really like this song. Craig David uses his vocal talent to a high extent to a create a beat that people like. He mainly talks about ladies in songs, like in his latest song, ‘eenie meenie'. Eminem does not really sing, he raps giving the song a great beat that has a lot of rhyming in it, you can feel his emotion when he sings in his songs, showing he has passion towards certain songs. He normally bases his songs on the way of life, past experiences he claims to have had, situations and things he loves or hates. In his album, the Eminem show, he has dedicated a song to Hailey showing that he really loves her. I think that Eminem's songs are brilliant but some might say that they are depressing and has bad influence on people, but I don't think that. Craig David is very good when he wants to be, his song ‘what your flava' was not that good in my opinion because he had not written a song in a while and I figure he was a little out of touch. But his other song eenie meenie is brilliant because he is mixing different styles of music making a brilliant tune in my opinion. Overall, I think that they are both good but Eminem is a lot better and down to Earth and has more meaning in his songs.
